Prevention, Education, and Outreach
The prevention team at DVS works to educate the community and create lasting change. We work with teens, adults, and community organizations to raise awareness about the signs of abuse, teach healthy relationship skills, and provide people with the tools to help survivors of domestic violence.
School Based Programs
DVS offers a flexible teen dating violence prevention curriculum for schools in Snohomish County.
Our available programs include:
- Classroom presentations
- Assembly style presentations
- Informational videos
- Student taskforces
- Drop in hours Parent engagement/ educational sessions
Youth Prevention Programs
DVS partners with organizations in the community to teach teens the skills they need to have healthy relationships and empower them to help end domestic and dating violence.
Our program has worked with:

- Teen Centers
- And more!
Community Trainings
DVS offers trainings on how to recognize the signs and better serve survivors of domestic violence. We also provide information about the services we offer and how to make referrals to our organization.

Elder Abuse Outreach
DVS partners with organizations serving seniors to do outreach and education for elders experiencing Intimate Partner Violence.
Our elder abuse advocate can provide:

- Elder Abuse printed materials
